How to create an incredibly inefficient IP network with xylophones

While people generally want faster and more efficient networks, R. Stuart Geiger, a graduate student at the Berkeley’s School of Information led a team that created an incredibly inefficient IP network using human-played xylophones. The purpose of all this was simply to demonstrate the versatility of internet protocol. That, and just having fun.
