First video from the set of World War Z shows a zombie attack

Like all movie set videos, this is out of context, not at the right angle and completely unedited, so it gives you zero actual feel of the movie, but it’s cool to see anyway.

A friend of ours was lucky enough to bag himself a gig as an extra on the set of Brad Pitt’s new film World War Z, based on the best selling book by Max Brooks, while it was being shot in Glasgow. He also advised us to ignore all the fanboy chatter over the alleged plot changes from the book, he assured us that from the scenes he took part in and watched this movie will definitely be worth the wait.

Or at least zombie mannequins hanging from a rack. These photos were taken by some brave soul on the movie set in Glasgow, Scotland, which is somehow acting as a stand-in for Philadelphia.

Plot for the World War Z movie revealed and they’ve pretty much upended the whole thing

One of the more appealing things about Max Brooks’ novel World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War was its narrative. It was in fact an oral history, as the narrator travels the ravaged post-war world, interviewing survivors and piecing together a comprehensive story of what happened. However it looks like in the film adaptation, they’ve turned back time to put the viewer right in the middle of the Zombie War.
