Back in 1993, when Biden was just Senator Joe Biden, he made a brief appearance on the PBS TV show ‘Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?” Osama bin Laden is dead, but Carmen Sandiego is still alive.

Carmen Sandiego movie optioned, with Hennifer Lopez in the lead role

The good news is that the world may finally be getting a Carmen Sandiego movie, but the bad news is that it looks like the deal comes with Jennifer Lopez in the lead role. In the 90s, Disney optioned the franchise for a movie starring Sandra Bullock that never went anywhere.

IHC Retro Game Reviews: Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?

I’ve always been a big geography buff, and while it wasn’t Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego that started it, it certainly encouraged my obsession with maps and atlases and almanacs. When I was a kid, I had “Where in the World”, “Where in the USA”, “Where in Europe” and “Where in Time” and I played them obsessively, memorizing capitals, national languages, factoids and flags, just soaking it all up, one VILE henchman at a time.
