Tomorrow at sunrise in the western hemisphere and sunset in the eastern hemisphere, you might be able to catch Venus crossing the face of the Sun, something you won’t be able to see again until 2117, when you’ll be really fucking old.

Conspiracy theorists claim to find triangular alien ship near Venus, NASA says it’s a trick of light

Looking at images from NASA’s STEREO-B solar probe, some alien conspiracy theorists have claimed to have spotted a gigantic triangular alien spaceship parked next to Venus, which is different than the massive mothership some people claimed to see parked next to Mercury several months ago.

NASA creates a miniature Venus in California to test future Venus rovers

Sending roving surface probes to Mars has sort of become de rigueur at this point… unless you’re Russia… but putting a rover on the surface of Venus that would last any length of time is a much more difficult challenge due to the thick, toxic and hellish Venusian environment. But NASA has built a Venus simulator out in California to learn how they can make a Venus rover that’s built to last.
