Nike’s dimpled track suit could help athletes shatter world records at this summer’s Olympics

Taking inspiration from golf, one of the slowest sports on the planet, Nike’s new track suits are covered in dimples. Just like a golf ball, these dimples decrease wind resistance. Nike claims that these suits can shave off a whopping 0.23 seconds off a runner’s time, which for the Olympics, can make the difference between first place and fifth place.

This is a track and field game in which you have to move different sets of your muscles on each leg to run forward, making it god damn near impossible to play. Was this created as a joke? Who the hell thought this was a good idea? Someone who was born completely crippled who imagined this is how difficult walking would be?
