In one of the sadder divorce stories you’ll read about today, a pair of giant tortoises in a zoo in Austria that had been best friends and a romantic couple for a staggering 115 years has suddenly called it quits.

QI fun factoid of the day: Why did it take so long for the giant tortoise to get a proper scientific name?
