If you watched the old Thundercats series, you may not recognize the name at first, but when you see these little robo-teddy bears, those nostalgia circuits will start firing. Also, what the hell is wrong with Wilykit and Wilykat? What the fuck have they been smoking?

These He-Man and co. Hipster arts by Fab Ciraolo are so much fun. Touches like the galaxy backgrounds and the Kelly Kapowski T-Shirt (which you will see after the cut) are inspired. There are He-Man characters, Jem, Thundercats and even a Silverhawk (I was a Silverhawk for Halloween when I was 6! Whatta nerd.)

This is a) nothing like I thought it would be and b) fucking awful. Liono was never a “bro” for fuck’s sake. This is hopefully the reason that the Thundercats movie is on an infinite hold.

Guess who’s back and all animed up? Thunder Thunder Thunder Thundercats… HO!

Because Thundercats will hopefully never die, it looks like that there’s going to be a new Thundercats series and a new toy line. At the London Toy Fair, Bandai revealed the brand new Thundercats avec action figures and politely asked that no one take pictures, which as you can see below, worked out pretty well.
