In comic book movie news, it looks like that there’s a good possibility that the main villain in Thor 2 could be The Enchantress, though no one has been cast for the role yet. And things are still going along, albeit quite slowly, with the Lobo movie, but apparently Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been talking about how he’s in talks for the lead role.

If you’ve got deep pockets and you like super fucking awesome Marvel superhero movie props, you might take a gander at all the cool shit Marvel is auctioning both online and in person at the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo.
Thor 2 made headlines back in September when it tapped Patty Jenkins to direct, making her the first female filmmaker ever chosen for a big Marvel Studios picture and then earlier this month, Jenkins was removed from the film. Now it seems the project’s back on track, as news breaks that Game of Thrones‘ Alan Taylor has been offered the job.
Leading up to the Avengers has been all about huge movies with huge budgets for huge classic Marvel heroes. But the post-Avengers world looks to more about sequels and mining some lesser known comics with good stories that will hopefully make some pretty good movies.
Thor’s coming out on Blu Ray and DVD on September 13th, but due to unintentional, premature release in some regions, all 11 of the deleted scenes from the movies have leaked onto the internets.
Some new set photos and video of The Avengers currently shooting in Cleveland don’t reveal much about the story other than to solidly confirm that Loki is at least one of the bad guys in the film. But he’s not really doing a lot here other than standing around outside what looks like an expensive restaurant. I wonder how often Tom Hiddleston gets those horns snagged on things on set.
