Krang pregnant belly body paint
I like the idea of all pregnant women using the time they have a giant belly to get creative with it, such as painting up your giant baby bump with Krang from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Michael Bay’s Ninja Turtles script leaks all over the web, confirms our worst fears

While Michael Bay’s TMNT project is on hold right now, every little bit of news that ended up on the internet just seemed like bad news. And then, this past weekend, a copy of one of the lastest Ninja Turtles scripts hit the web and it’s bad. Oh so bad.
Check out this clip from Nickelodeon’s new TMNT animated series
From SDCC, Nickelodeon showed off some clips of their new TMNT series. I definitely like the animation and the energy and the humor, but there are some things about the series that some people might not like (not shown in this video)… Splinter is no longer old and wise, he’s about the same age as the Turtles. April O’Neal is now 16, not a grown up, Donatello has a naginata instead of a bo and “cowabunga” has been replaced with “booyakasha!” That last one… no.
Ninja Turtles animated tribute of the day: “Ninja Turtles: A Tribute”
It’s just a short piece of animation by Malcolm Sutherland, but it’s got heart.
Awesome TMNT wagon spotted at Sam’s Club
Because where else are you going to get pizza, nunchuku, hockey sticks and panties in bulk in one trip?
Paramount shuts down production of Michael Bay’s Ninja Turtles… for now

Just as Michael Bay’s TMNT movie was about to go into production, Paramount halted the project temporarily. Temporarily is the key word. Apparently, studio execs weren’t at all happy with the script, so it’s being sent back for rewrites and the release date has been pushed back to spring 2014. We almost dodged a bullet, but not quite.
Michael Bay’s Ninja Turtles starts shooting later this year, may have Vanilla Ice

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II wasn’t as good as the first TMNT movie, but it did feature a memorable song on its soundtrack called “Ninja Rap”. The song wasn’t written for the TMNT movie, but it and Vanilla Ice sort of became quantum entangled with Ninja Turtles movies for the rest of time. So it’s kind of neat that Vanilla Ice might appear on Michael Bay’s Ninja Turtles soundtrack. Neat, or lame. There’s a fine line.
Morning music videos: Keith Apicary “T.M.N.T.S.O.N.G.”
A music video, done in one take with no cuts, just Keith.
This is the earliest known sketch of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
This first sketch of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by one of their co-creators Kevin Eastman is currently up for auction, if you happen to have a minimum of $6,000 just sitting around. Eastman reportedly drew it in 1983 “to make fellow creator Peter Laird laugh,”
Fan art of the day: Aardman Ninja Turtles

Sunday morning comics: “TMNT vs WoW”
Is this concept art indicative of what Michael Bay’s Ninja Turtles will look like? I hope not.

If you’re worried about how Michael Bay’s production company will handle the new TMNT movie, this leaked concept art probably won’t do anything to assuage your fears. While it’s not bad for some things, it reminds me of the early 90s, when Playmate went crazy with TMNT action figures, creating stupidly costumed turtles, from astronauts to pizza delivery guys to film noir detectives to surfers.
