Ted Williams, the homeless guy with the golden voice, one year later

A little over a year ago, Ted Williams was just another homeless guy in Columbus, Ohio, panhandling to get food and support drug and alcohol addictions. And then, the Columbus Dispatch put a video of Ted up on YouTube and literally overnight, he was on every talk show, featured on every website and had announcing and voiceover work out the wazoo. One year later, he’s clean after two trips to rehab and he’s living the high life. Way to go, Ted.

Well this is unnecessary: “The Next Top Homeless Person”

So now that Ted Williams is America’s biggest celebrity of 2011, this news station in Indianapolis decided to go around waking up homeless people in the snow to see if they could find the next Ted Williams. Fuck you, Indianapolis. I bet that news crew didn’t give a single one of those people a dollar or a quarter or even a hot cup of cheap coffee for their efforts. LOLHOMELESSPEOPLE.

Today’s Ted Williams news: Ted Williams in that Kraft Mac and Cheese commercial

Okay, so I kinda feel sort of creepy jumping on the Ted Williams 24/7 bandwagon, but this is a commercial, so it’s meant to be seen and damn right there at the end he’s got some smooth tones like melted Velveeta.

Because former homeless guy Ted William’s crazy fucking rollercoaster ride of fame isn’t even close to being done yet, there’s now a possibility that he could star opposite Jack Nicholson in a movie. At least Jack Nicholson wants him to.

This shit is just insane— to think that just 48 hours ago, Ted Williams was panhandling by the side of the road in Columbus, Ohio and now he’s got job offers out the wazoo, he’s got a contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers and a house paid in full, and now here he is on The Today Show before he runs out to do some voiceovers for Kraft Macaroni and Cheese.
