Buy every SNES game ever released in North America for $25000

I’m a little jealous and star struck by the individual who is selling a massive collection of SNES games on ebay. A single copy of all 721 SNES games ever released in North America, with boxes for $25,000. Several years ago, I sold my huge collection of about 500 NES games on ebay for much less than that, but most of the carts were in shit condition.
SNES game sprites taking a little break because you forgot to hit pause…
“An homage dedicated to the Super Nintendo & my childhood. The idea of the video is as the title suggests. The sprites that are featured in the video are seen in their idle animations or left alone to be pummeled, etc. I tried fitting in as many games as I could that featured sprites in a classic side-scrolling style. Besides being zoomed in, all of the footage is in it’s original emulated state/speed without manipulation. Quite a few of the games had multiple characters to choose from. For the most part, I tried keeping it to one selection per game. One thing that I focused on was choosing female characters, there aren’t that many female stars in video games… So, some majority fan favorites were left out …”
Geekcraft of the Day: Custom SNES arcade cabinet

The cabinet was built by Reddit contributor Echoobrain, and it has a full arcade quality joystick and buttons built in. The system offers Link and Mario details on the side, along with a Triforce on the front – and it’s crowned with a proper Nintendo logo of course. While the arcade controller is limited to single-player gaming, there is a hidden controller in the front drawer that lets you play 2-player games too.
Classic SNES games in the real world
“A little SNES tribute. Working on this really made me nostalgic *sniff* All sprites animated by hand … took a long time …”

College Humor imagines Doctor Who as an SNES game
If only this had been a reality, but sadly during the SNES’s run was during the decade that Doctor Who was off the air. “Rory has left the party”… again.
Criterion Collection versions of SNES games

If you like classic movies, you’re probably familiar with the Criterion Collection. Classic movies, repackaged with minimalist, artsy-fartsy covers. GamePro re-imagined a number of old SNES video games with that special Criterion touch.
News from 1991: Parents upset at the high cost of the SNES
Back in 1991, parents were up in arms over the astronomical price of the Super Nintendo “electronic video game system” at $200. Two hundred dollars? That’s outrageous! Who would buy such a thing?
Game of Thrones, the SNES version
Not quite like just killing chickens and slimes and whatnot, is it?
Doctor Who intro done in the style of a 16 bit SNES game
And now my heart is saddened that this never was and never will be.
How to make a working urinal out of old SNES cartridges
With just some plumbing supplies, some glue and caulk and a whole stack of SNES cartridges, you too can have an awesome SNES urinal. If you want that sort of thing in your house.
SNES game Zombies Ate My Neighbors is being turned into a movie

Back in the 90s on the SNES and Sega Genesis, before fucking everything came in zombie flavor, there was a sometimes under-appreciated game called Zombies At My Neighbors. You probably remember it. At least you should have remembered it. It wasn’t a huge game like F-Zero or Donkey Kong Country, but it was one of my favorites for the SNES and it’s cool that it looks like it’s getting the video game to movie treatment.
I demand that this is played in every 7-11 worldwide, 24-7.
