While there will be Marv in Sin City 2, due to a combination of a non-linear storytelling style and the tragic loss of some of the actors from the original Sin City, the sequel ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’ will have quite a few new faces.
Yesterday, writer/director Robert Rodriguez officially announced the sequel/prequel to Sin City, which will officially be called ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’. While Rodriguez has talked about Sin City 2 for a while now, and the movie’s eventual production has never been in doubt, it’s nice to get official confirmation.
For years, Robert Rodriguez has talked about Sin City 2 as a definite, but it just hasn’t happened yet. Fortunately, Rodriguez confirmed that he’s finally getting down to working on the sequel-prequel to Sin City, so we’ve all got that to look forward to.
Writer and director Robert Rodriguez spoke at San Diego Comic Con yesterday to talk about some of his future projects, including Sin City 2, two more Machete movies and a movie based on Frank Frazetta’s Fire and Ice.
