iOS chief Scott Forstall stepping down, will be replaced by Apple’s product design guru Jony Ive

Scott Forstall, Senior Vice President of Apple’s iOS and User Interface division, will be leaving the company sometime in 2013. His replacement will be Jony Ive, who is already Senior Vice President of industrial design. Forstall apparently never got along well with the other execs, and he just happened to be the head of the botched Apple Maps project.
