LEGO is opening a school in Denmark. The most awesome school ever.

The world’s first LEGO school will soon open up in Denmark, where kids will be immersed in a colorful LEGO world of creativity and imagination. Damn lucky Danish kids.

Canadian university is now offering a course in the Science of Batman

When you graduate high school and you move on to college, you start studying super serious stuff… like if you were going to the University of Victoria in Canada, you could sign up to take a course on the Science of Batman. Science. Batman. Serious stuff.

The course looks at the adaptability of the human mind and body in terms of how someone could potentially become the baddest motherfucker on the planet, AKA Batman.

Thirteen years into the 21st century and schools across America have gotten used to racial integration for decades, for generations. Except at Wilcox County High in Georgia, where the school is integrated, but the prom is not. Even as some students try desperately to change this, students and parents alike, steeped in tradition, are determined not to change anything.

Indonesia to remove science from schools to allow more time to teach religion and nationalism. This should work out well for them.

Indonesia is the most populated Muslim nation on Earth, and has generally been kept well out of even the most paranoid’s discussion of “crazy Muslim extremists”. Well, the country recently decided to remove things like math and science from schools to give more time for religion and nationalism, because nothing keeps a country on a sane path like getting rid of science.

Honestly, it should be a crime for this shit to exist. Science class. Should be used to teach science. Not mythology.

New Zealand schoolchildren encouraged to dress up roadkill for competition

In New Zealand, they’re bringing back the art of dressing up dead possums in dresses with the help of schoolchildren. these furry corpses formed part of a display at a school in New Zealand which held a bizarre best-dressed dead possum competition as part of a fundraising day. Children let their imaginations run wild when they dressed the dead animals in all their finery for the contest at Uruti School on New Zealand’s North Island.
