As far as gaming laptops, it’s hard to beat the Razer Blade. But if you want a slightly cheaper and slightly smaller version than the 17” beast that’s already out, Razer recently released a 14” version that packs just as much power into an insanely thin and wonderfully gorgeous laptop. It’s pretty, it’s sturdy and it’s got an Intel Core i7-4702HQ quad core processor running at 2.2GHz (3.2 when Turbo Boosted) and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 765M with 2GB of GDDR5 memory.
If you were hoping to get your hands on a Razer Blade gaming laptop by Christmas or even by the end of December, you’re going to have to wait a little longer. Just as the laptop was about to launch, Razer pushed the date back so they could swap out the 320GB hard drive with a solid state 256GB hard drive.
If there’s one thing that Razer has, it’s an enormous passion for PC gaming. They even recently took out a full page ad in the Wall Street Journal, declaring that PC gaming isn’t dead and they were going to prove it. And their proof was today’s unveiling of the Razer Blade, a hardcore gaming laptop with an innovative game-centric design and interface.
