It’s official: Piers Morgan will be replacing Larry King

Piers Morgan, known to most Americans as a judge on America’s Got Talent and as the winner of Celebrity Apprentice a couple years ago is actually a hard-hitting tabloid editor and reporter who’s developed a reputation as one of the most intense and hard-hitting interviewers in the biz. Larry King will be departing in December and Morgan will be taking over in January. Just for all you Larry King fans out there.

Personally, I’ve never really liked Larry King. He’s been around for forever and with almost every single interview I’ve seen him do, he always seems like he’s phoning it in and barely there. Maybe that’s just been the past five years or so, but damn it’s time for him to hang up his suspenders and I think Morgan is a good choice.
