When Google Video stops working on April 29, it will be a huge loss to the interwebs. Case in point: the definitive alt-rock history documentary 1991: The Year Punk Broke is currently on Google Video in full, and after the 29th, you’ll have to wait for it to come out on DVD in the fall of this year.
According to Billy West, Kurt Cobain once wrote a song for the Ren and Stimpy show, but it got rejected
According to voice actor Billy West, who did the voice of Stimpy on Ren and Stimpy and currently does several voices on Futurama, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain once showed up at the LA offices of Spumco with a song he had written for the Ren and Stimpy show. Sadly, the song got rejected and there’s no record of it and there’s no record of Kurt’s visit to the studio other than Billy West’s story.
Francis Bean Cobain turned 18 a couple weeks ago, and with her newfound adulthood came a public realization that her mom is a crazy bitch. And with her turning 18, it means that I officially feel like an old fuck now. I remember in high school when she was born. Ouch.
