I really like the first New Super Mario Bros, and this looks fun as well, though I don’t entirely get the emphasis on coins. SO MANY COINS.

New Super Mario Bros 2 to launch in August on the Nintendo 3DS

With the success of the very awesome New Super Mario Bros for the Nintendo DS a couple years ago, I’m happy as a gigantic Mario that Nintendo recently announced that New Super Mario Bros 2 will be coming to the 3DS this August.

The original Super Mario Bros gets way more super

Some guy going by the name SKJmin hacked Super Mario Bros for the DS and used it to re-create all of the original 2D Super Mario games, including SMB, SMB2, The Lost Levels and SMB3 as well as a number of diabolical new levels and mazes.

And then if it weren’t epic enough, he throws in some Metroid levels as well as appearances from Link, Alucard and more.
