My Little Mutant Ninja Ponies is up for scoring on Threadless
~ Hey iheartchaos community, I entered this design into Threadless’s TMNT t-shirt contest. I’m pretty sure ninja ponies are desperately needed in the world. It’s kind of a miracle the ponies even got accepted into this turtle race, so how about some help getting them to the finish line? Polls close April 23rd.

Way over thinking it: My Little Pony vs. Plato’s Republic
You may think at first that My Little Pony has very little in common with the ancient Greek philosopher Plato, but apparently you’d be wrong. It’s actually a brightly colored allegory that well represents the ideals put forth in Plato’s ‘Republic’.

Bronies take over Manhattan for BroNYCon
Things I know now that I didn’t know before: a) Bronies are a real thing and not just a lame internet joke, b) There are enough Bronies to have several BroNYCons a year and c) last week’s BroNYCon was the biggest yet. So there’s that.

New York Times confuses the names of two My Little Ponies. AND YOU CALL YOURSELF A NEWS ORGANIZATION
Even though this technically happened right at the end of 2011, the ramifications and the shockwaves of an error by the New York Times is so horrendous, so unforgivable, that I’m calling it the editorial fuck up of the year. And we haven’t even really started the year.

Bill Clinton is a brony, and everything you ever knew is now wrong.
A couple days ago, Bill Clinton was on the NPR game show “Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me” (which he admits he’s never heard of) to talk about his post-presidential project, the Clinton Global Initiative. Blah blah blah after all the boring stuff, host Peter Sagal got to the game show part, quizzing Clinton on My Little Pony.
