The first real spot for the Monsters, Inc sequel ‘Monsters University’ is a clever recruitment ad for Monsters University itself. I hear they have a great art department.

We’ve shown you Wreck-It Ralph, Disney’s next animated feature, and a very non-revealing look at Pixar’s next two films, and now it’s time to look at a Disney-Pixar joint, the prequel to Monsters Inc., titled Monsters University.

The Monsters, Inc. sequel will actually be a prequel called “Monsters University”

There’s been talk of a sequel to Monsters, Inc. ever since the film first debuted in 2001, but for one reason or another it kept getting pushed back. Pixar announced yesterday that it is finally working on a sequel, that will actually be more of a prequel titled Monsters University that will follow Mike and Sully as they get their degrees in monsterology or whatever.
