Morning music videos: Eclectic Method “Monsters”

Ten ridiculous Japanese monsters

Every country has its own mythology. Sometimes, that mythology is based around a specific theme or the inability to explain certain things in nature. Sometimes it relates directly to a country’s religion or other spiritual beliefs. Mystical creatures often played a huge role in these mythologies too, especially in Japan, where their mythology had a lot to do with all the things I listed above, including insanity. These are ten Japanese monsters that are so ridiculous that they often seem sarcastic.

Australian Burger Kings Get Nicer Kid’s Meal Toys Than Us

While we’re getting licensed garbage shoved down our throats, the Australian version of Burger King, Hungry Jack’s, will be giving away these stylish little monsters with their Kid’s Meals in the coming months. Each “Monsters of the World” figure is based on a mythological creature from - you guessed it — a different part of the world, so kids will get to learn about culture AND have some sick toys!

America, you officially need to step up your fast food toy game, like, pronto.
