Yes, I know this is older than dirt, but god dammit it makes me laugh every time I see it.

Mickey Mouse at Disney World now has a creepy animatronic head

Looks like at Disney parks, they’re experimenting with robotic animatronic heads instead of the old static, mute heads that you know and love. I guess the effect is sort of cool, but at the same time, it makes me wish that Mickey would go back to not saying anything. I guess the kids like it or something, but kids are fucking stupid.

New Epic Mickey trailer tells the story of Oswald the Rabbit

I don’t know if I’ve explained before, but when I was a kid, I was a huge Disney nut. I really wanted to be a Disney animator (the best animation gig in town at the time) and I learned everything about it, and so I can’t even begin to explain the joy I felt seeing this video explaining the history of Oswald the Rabbit and his return to the Disney family after nearly 100 years of being lost in trademark disputes.

I also love that they’ve made him like Mickey’s older brother, pissed that Mickey was the one that became world famous when it was Oswald who was the star first.

Mickey Mouse learns that the Donald Duck / Glenn Beck mashup is a government conspiracy

So for whatever reason Glenn Beck decided that he needed to respond to the Donald Duck / Glenn Beck mashup and when he did, he did in the most Glenn Beck way possible— by accusing the creator of getting gubmint funding ergo gubmint conspiracy against Glenn Beck.

So when are we going to find out finally that Beck isn’t real and that he’s just like the Tooth Fariy?

Epic Mickey opening scene shows Mickey to be an epic asshole

So Mickey’s cute and innocent and all, but lest we forget, he’s also sort of a dick and an idiot. In the recently released opening sequence for Epic Mickey, we learn that the whole destruction of the cartoon world could have been avoided if Mickey weren’t such a dumbass.
