Levar Burton officially launches the Reading Rainbow iPad app
Last year, we told you how Levar Burton, was working to bring Reading Rainbow back as an iPad app, and today was the day when it was officially launched. The app features an ever-growing library of books, activities, reviews, video segments and more.

Levar Burton is relaunching Reading Rainbow: The Next Generation… on the iPad
For the last several days, Levar Burton has been teasing the return of Reading Rainbow, and today he announced that the show is coming back not on TV, but through the iPad. Burton said the Reading Rainbow iPad app will be a full interactive multimedia experience, that will not only provide videos and education, but will launch with over 300 interactive children’s books.
