Hitchhiking John Waters picked up by indie band, for some reason

Indie band Here We Go Magic was driving across country when they picked up a hitchhiker. That hitchhiker just happened to be director John Waters, with whom the band shared a ride with for six hours. They swear it’s not a publicity stunt, which raises the question: “Why is John Waters hitchhiking across America?” Because he’s John Waters.
