While this guy is just taping his ride home from work for some reason, he not only just happens to catch an apocalyptic looking substation explosion, but he just happened to listening to John Lennon singing “Imagine”. Creepy.

On this day in 1980, John Lennon was shot down in New York City. I know this song is perhaps an obvious choice for a one-song tribute, but god damn what a song it is. I like the Beatles, but I like Lennon more. He was an absolutely tremendous musical talent, the likes of which the world only sees every hundred years or so.

This is Stevie Riks. Yeah, both Lennon and Bowie are the same impressionist, and he’s quite simply amazing. I’ve been a fan for years now, and I’ve enjoyed his Bowie, Beatles, Bee Gees, and dozens of other spot-on impressions enough to share. Keep in mind, he plays all the music AND does all the singing. He’s really quite talented.
