John Cusack to develop, star in a Rush Limbaugh biopic. Because that’s what the world has been crying out for for years

Because the world apparently needs a Rush Limbaugh biopic, John Cusack has stepped up to develop and star in such a film. The film will be called ‘Rush’, and will be directed by Betty Thomas, whose directing accolades include such films as The Brady Bunch and Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squequel.

So, there’s that.

The first look at John Cusack as Edgar Allen Poe in The Raven

Directed by James McTeigue (V for Vendetta), the story has Poe teaming up with a detective (played by Luke Evans) to search for a serial killer who has kidnapped the author’s fiancée (Alice Eve) and gone on a murder spree that recalls Poe’s stories. He certainly looks pretty Poe-like.

John Cusack to play Edgar Allan Poe in ‘The Raven’

Even if Sylvester Stallone’s plans of creating an Edgar Allan Poe movie might never be realized, there will be a Poe movie coming out of Hollywood next year. Called The Raven, it’s a murder mystery set during Poe’s lifetime in which a killer is using Poe’s stories to commit murder and it’s up to Poe to stop him, and it’s got John Cusack in the role of Edgar Allan Poe.
