For 3 days this week, amazing prizes will be given away to the community. Full details inside!
My good friend, and long-time tattoo artist, Xavier and his wife got hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. They evacuated as instructed and moved as much of their stuff as possible, but lost essentially everything. There’s a small campaign to help them get back on their feet and get a some basic supplies for them and their children. Anything helps, and if you’re ever in NYC I’m sure he’ll hook you up with some new ink or buy you a beer.
IHC’s first attempt at a member map was, to be technical, a complete clusterfuck. Trolls pretty well gang-raped the map and it was all downhill from there.
So…. off to Round 2. If you want to be included on the map, send us your username and ‘hood to ihcmaps at gmail.com (or just write it in the comments, but no guarantees that we’ll be checking the comments down the road).
You can check out the current map here: http://bit.ly/LV40cN
IHCer ChaosTsar sent me a message saying we should have an IHC member map, so we can get a good idea of where people are generally from so maybe we can plan IHC parties accordingly. You don’t have to put your real name of course, or even put a pin in the exact city you live in if you don’t want. General area is okay.
So I figured, he is the Tsar of Chaos, so I’d better listen to him.
Step 1: Click Edit / Step 2: Add your pin / Step 3: Click save
Being addicted to I Heart Chaos, I made a very basic android app with appsgeyser.
Hope you like it. Keep up the good work!
Some of you may remember our sweet little pit bull girl Riddle, who needed knee surgery. We posted a plea for help, and we were amazed by how many IHCers stepped up and donated! We received about $350 in donations, which blew us away. Such generosity was not expected, but greatly appreciated!
About a year or so ago, Delsyd and I tried doing a couple episodes of an IHC Podcast before we ended up being too busy to pursue it. But now, an elite team of IHCers is putting together the first of hopefully might be at least a few podcasts.
IHCer extraordinaire HDCase pulled together the DC meetup at the Reason Rally last month and he’s already wanting to plan another one later this month in New York City. I’ll pin this to the top of the page, and if you want to come, just reply below and/or email HDCase at ihcmeetups [at] gmail [d0t] com.
