Horrifying test footage of live action/CGI Hong Kong Phooey and Marvin the Martian movies are horrifying

After an attempt to try and put together live action/CGI movies for Hanna-Barbera cartoon Hong Kong Phooey and Looney Tunes character Marvin the Martian got canned, this test footage hit the internet yesterday. Granted, it’s test footage, so the animation isn’t perfect, but there’s so much more wrong here than just slightly unfinished animation. So much more.

Saturday Morning Cartoons: The trailer for the Mexican Top Cat movie

Wait, what? There’s going to be a full length Top Cat feature from Mexico? Yes. And it’s opening across Latin America. While in the US, Top Cat only ran in his own series from 1961 to 1962 with some reruns on Cartoon Network, in Mexico, he’s been going continuously since 1970 and is incredibly popular. Who knew? People in Mexico, I guess.
