Google sends Street View trekking down into the Grand Canyon

First Google just started with streets, now they’re taking their cameras down into the Grand Canyon to create a virtual hiking experience without all the annoying things like heat and bugs and beauty.

Google Street View comes to Antarctica

Good news if you need to look for a particular penguin nest that isn’t showin up on your GPS— Google Street View is officially now on all seven continents. The photo above is of a group of beautiful chinstrap penguins just chillin’ and being all chinstrappy. Lo! I think I see one that’s tiny and ninja-like.

Google Street View in the UK sees dead children

When families on Middle Rd, St.John’s, Worcester in the UK went to find their addresses on Google Street View, what they saw was what appeared to be the corpse of a young girl lying in the road. They demanded an explanation and it turns out that it was just a local 9-year old girl who, at the moment the Street View car was passing, just happened to be lying there, pretending to be dead to scare her friend, and a great Google Street View image was born.
