Gillian Anderson returning to TV as Hannibal Lector’s shrink
NBC is bringing out the big guns with their upcoming Hannibal Lector series, ‘Hannibal’. First they got Mads Mikkelsen to play Lector and now Gillian Anderson will be returning to television playing Lector’s shrink.

The story of Gillian Anderson’s X-Files “Scully Box”
In movies and TV, when there’s too much a height discrepancy between two actors being shot together, they’ll use what’s called an apple box (so named, because it’s about an apple high) to bridge the gap so the actors are both in frame. But for 5’2” Gillian Anderson, the X-Files crew had to build one about an apple and a half high, which they called they “Scully Box”.
