IHC Movie Reviews: GI Joe: Retaliation (2013)

GI Joe: Retaliation is in theaters now, after a delay of almost a year. The first film was either loved or hated, and this sequel promised to get back to the roots of the franchise, and be an all around better flick. So how did it do? Did it hold up to that promise, or should it have been listed KIA? You want to know, and knowing is half the battle.

Check out the new trailer for GI Joe: Retaliation

Okay, so I wasn’t all that impressed with the first GI Joe movie, but this actually looks pretty badass. GO JOE. G.I. Joe: Retaliation, starring The Rock, Bruce Willis, Ray Park and Adrianne Palicki, hits theaters June 29.

Oh look, it’s a third GI Joe movie, but it actually has a plot this time. The G.I. Joe team has been framed by Cobra — who have now snaked their way into the White House and gained the president’s ear — and several team members have been “terminated with extreme prejudice.” Now the only man the Joes can trust is Joe Colton himself, Bruce Willis.
