Gabe Newell: Source Engine 2 is in development
Valve (giant) head Gabe Newell confirmed last that his company is currently working on the next generation of the Source Engine, but he was cryptic and didn’t offer a whole lot of detail.

Valve’s Gabe Newell calls Windows 8 a “catastrophe”
Windows 8 isn’t coming out til October, but already reactions have been very mixed. Some people like it, others hate it. In the haters column, you can now add Valve founder Gabe Newell, who says Windows 8 will be a catastrophe for developers (developers developers), because the Windows Store will bring smaller profits for developers and kill off open distribution systems.

Valve’s Gabe Newell makes the Forbes billionaire list
On Forbe’s yearly list of billionaires, there are familiar names like Carlos Slim, Bill Gates and Warren Buffet, but among the new names this year is Valve CEO Gabe Newell. which considering the enormous success of Valve’s Steam platform, shouldn’t be surprising.
