Here’s the first trailer for Hyde Park on Hudson, starring Bill Murray as FDR, depicting the visit of the King and Queen of England to America, the first diplomatic visit of British royalty to the US. This is definitely on my can’t-wait list for this year. Hyde Park opens December 7.

Everyone is familiar with Apple’s famous “1984” ad, but you’ve probably never seen this video, filmed in 1984, that stars Steve Jobs as FDR in an Apple World War II epic. The film was made just for internal use, for an employee event in Hawaii.

Would Franklin Roosevelt recognize the Social Security system in America right now?
There’s no doubt that Franklin Roosevelt was enthusiastic about Social Security— it was the centerpiece of his New Deal. Hell, people in his day and even some in the 21st century called him a dangerous Communist because of his drastic and sweeping social reform that he saw as essential to bringing the country out of the Great Depression. But what would FDR think of Social Security now?

Hoooly shit. This movie has everything I’ve ever dreamed of in a WWII movie, namely FDR defeating Nazi werewolves in his mechanized machine gun wheelchair just in time to get to a French titty bar. HOLY SHIT GOBLINS this is so badass.

Bill Murray to play FDR in “Hyde Park on Hudson”
Bill Murray may be purposely holding up the production of Ghostbusters 3, but he’s decided that he will be playing Franklin Delano Roosevelt in the film adaptation of the 2009 BBC radio play “Hyde Park on Hudson”.
