Freaky cyclops shark caught off the coast of Mexico

This attractive little guy was caught off the coast of Mexico in the Sea of Cortez. Or rather its mom was. The mother shark was caught and this unborn shark pup was found inside her, big ugly eye glaring out to the world.

Scientists are verifying the validity of the shark, and it’s unlikely that the shark pup would have survived long after birth… or maybe it would. Maybe it would survive all too well. Maybe it shoots lasers from that eye. Nobody knows.
