Fourteen mind-blowing minutes of Bioshock Infinite

Earlier this year at E3, this fourteen minute gameplay video of Bioshock Infinite was on display, but this is the first time it’s been available to the public. Fuck, and I was already impressed with the first two Bioshock games, but now… this.

Creator of Hawken stops by G4 to show off some gameplay

Still more awesomeness from E3, one of the creators (of six people total!) of the mech combat FPS Hawken stops by G4 to show off some gameplay. There’s no official release date yet, but this thing looks pretty fucking badass.

E3 2011: Check out the trailer for Bloodrayne: Betrayal

I’ll admit, that while the vampire chick in Bloodrayne is pretty hot, I’ve never been all that excited about Bloodrayne games. But Betrayal, which showed its face at E3 this year, is an action 2D sidescroller that just looks fucking awesome. It comes out later this summer for XBL and PSN.

E3 2011: Picture Lives, possibly the weirdest game at E3

There were lots of great looking games at E3 with cutting edge graphics, but a much simpler, and much more bizarre game is Picture Lives for the 3DS. It’s a strange looking thing, where you create creatures out of basic shapes and set them in motion in the world to do… things. I don’t know. But it looks interesting.

E3 2011: Gameplay videos for Batman: Arkham City

When Tinypenguininja visited E3 this year, he wanted to try and get his hands on Arkham City, but that didn’t happen. So for him and for the rest of us, here’s a couple Arkham City videos from E3 that show both Batman and Catwoman in action.

E3 2011: Check out the trailer for Hitman: Absolution

Wow. Just wow. Not only is this trailer for Hitman: Absolution brutal as hell, it’s absolutely gorgeous with its brand new Glacier 2 engine, which as you can see, rendered wet, naked ladies in absolutely stunning detail.

Hitman: Absolution is coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC some time in 2012

E3 2011: So apparently there’s a Game of Thrones game coming to PC

A week of E3 and this is the first I’ve heard about a Game of Thrones game happening? And it’s only coming to the PC, which is sometimes a sign that the whole process is cheap and poorly thought out and the game will suck, but who knows. We don’t have any other info right now.

E3 2011: It’s the E3 2011 wrap-up podcast type thing with CBZ and Tinypenguininja

I say “podcast type thing”, because this was literally just a few hours in the making, from “Hey, we should do this” to having done it, so I apologize that my audio is quite a bit lower than TPN’s and that it sounds really disjointed and unplanned, because it is. But it is informative and covers TPN’s first impressions of E3 and his stories and all those sorts of things. Hope you enjoy.

E3 2011: Trailer for Killer Freaks for the Wii U

Just because E3 is over, doesn’t mean we’re done posting news and trailers. We barely scraped the tip of the iceberg, and we’ll still be finding new stuff that was at E3 probably for a couple weeks. For example, this interesting looking action shooter for the Wii U called Killer Freaks. Nintendo’s said that they’re going to have more mature titles for the Wii U, moving away from the family friendly or nothing philosophy that they’ve had since the Gamecube.

E3 2011: More about that Star Trek video game

When we did the Sony press conference wrap up at the beginning of the week, we showed you the trailer for the upcoming PS3/360 Star Trek game, based on the JJ Abrams Star Trek universe, but Sony sent IHC a press release about the game, so I thought I’d share the additional info for you.

E3 2011: Gameplay demo for Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Yesterday, we showed you some gameplay footage for the Zelda HD game for the Wii U, but here’s some gameplay for a Zelda game that’s going to be out much sooner, Skyward Sword for the Wii.

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is coming this December.

This is the Q & A from the Konami VIP event the other day after E3.

Yeah, it’s kinda long and moderately boring, but if this is your thing, here you go.

Fan of this stuff or not, I recommend finding the Silent Hill bit.

E3 2011: Hands on with Zelda HD for the Wii U

This hands-on demo for Zelda HD for the Wii U looks really, really good and really shows off just a few of the really cool possibilities for integration of the Wii U controller. I honestly was never really impressed with the Wii as it just felt really gimmicky, and even after playing one it felt gimmicky, but everything I’ve seen with the Wii U, it looks like that Nintendo might be serious about once again having a console that’s not just loved by little kids and old people who want to play virtual bowling.

This, and rumors that Nintendo’s going to be bringing more mature action titles to the U gives me hope that this will be an actual decent console.
