E3 2012: Trailer for Scribblenauts Unlimited

Finally, Scribblenauts is moving off handheld systems, on to the Wii U. Using the Wii U gamepad, you can create Scribblenauts items in a whole new and more intuitive fashion.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Pikmin, but honestly somehow I never got around to playing it other than demos at Wal-Mart or Best Buy. But the third looks pretty damn good and if I get a Wii U, I might have to try it.

Looks pretty similar to all the other God of War games, but that can be a good thing, considering the other God of War games kick ass. Kratos will be Kratos.

E3 2012: Watch the trailer for Watch Dogs, one of the more exciting looking new titles coming out of E3

From what we know so far, ‘Watch Dogs’ will be a mysterious cyberpunk title exploring themes of electronic surveillance, data aggregation and hacking. The game is to be released for PC, PlayStation 3 and XBox 360, but does not yet have a release date.

I didn’t see any bows or arrows in this video, but there are a whole lot of bad ass nuns that want to turn Agent 47 into hamburger meat.

E3 2012: Sony brings augmented reality children’s books to the PS3 with Wonderbooks

By reading Wonderbooks in front of a PS3 connected TV with the Sony Eye camera, kids and adults can add some augmented reality to reading. The first title is a Harry Potter book called ‘Book of Spells’, where you can also use the PS Move controller as a magic wand.

E3 2012: Check out the trailer for ‘The Last of Us’, a post-apocalyptic third person shooter from Naughty Dog

The Last of Us is genre-defining experience blending survival and action elements to tell a character driven story about a population decimated by a modern plague. Cities are abandoned and being reclaimed by nature. Remaining survivors are killing each other for food, weapons and whatever they can find. Joel, a ruthless survivor, and Ellie, a young teenage girl who’s braver and wiser beyond her years, must work together to survive their journey across what remains of the United States.
