Still more trailers from E3: Five minute Far Cry 4 trailer

Far Cry 4 will be launching on PS4 and Xbox One consoles on November 18th, as well as for Xbox 360 and PS3.

And the award for the most insanely violent video game trailer at this year’s E3 goes to ‘Let It Die’ for PS4

One day in the near future, this game is going to be all over the cable news networks the next time some teenager goes nuts on his school with a shotgun, hatchets and a flamethrower.

More E3 trailers: Devil’s Third for the Wii U isn’t your typical Nintendo game

Created by Tomonobu Itagaki, creator of Ninja Gaiden, Devil’s Third has been in development hell for a few years before finding a home on the Wii U. And with this one game alone, Nintendo starts to shed the colorful kiddie games only vibe they purposely have cultivated since the Gamecube.

E3 2014: Trailer for Dawngate, EA’s upcoming mass online battle arena game

Seeing as how the likes of League of Legends and DoTA 2 have generated tons of revenue, it’s not surprising EA is getting into the genre with Dawngate. Looks like a lot of fun, though at some point you can be sure EA will make you begin to hate it.

Check out the behind-the-scenes trailer from E3 for Star Wars Battlefront

Star Wars™ Battlefront™ is the ultimate Star Wars battle experience, brought to life by the creators of Battlefield. Fight in epic Star Wars battles on iconic planets and rise through the ranks playing as the heroic Rebellion or the evil galactic Empire. In 2004, the original Star Wars Battlefront came onto the scene and took gamers – and Star Wars fans – by surprise. It was an ambitious action shooter that gave players the opportunity to step into the shoes of their favorite Star Wars characters, pilot quintessential Star Wars vehicles, and relive classic Star Wars battles. Fast forward nearly 10 years and gamers still have many of those same Star Wars gaming fantasies – but now they wish to experience those larger-than-life battles in magnificent high definition, with all of the amazing special effects, vehicle physics and gameplay intensity that the next-generation has to offer. Star Wars Battlefront, developed by DICE on Frostbite 3, will surprise and delight fans yet again with a new experience inside this beloved universe made with our signature DICE craftsmanship and commitment to excellence.

“Crimson Dragon” Is The Spiritual Successor To “Panzer Dragoon”

First shown off during the Xbox E3 press conference (albeit with no sound), Crimson Dragon grabbed some attention because it will be the spiritual successor to the critically acclaimed, cult-hit franchise Panzer Dragoon.

With creator Yukio Futatsugi at the helm and other returning staffers from the Panzer Dragoon series, Crimson Dragon is the best hope for old fans to satiate their desire for an old school rail shooter.

Crimson Dragon is currently set for downloadable release on Xbox One

E3 2013: Sony’s PS4 tech demo, “The Dark Sorcerer”

This isn’t a trailer for a game for the PS4, but instead it’s a tech demo to show off some of the PS4’s processing power. A kind of creepy tech demo.

E3 2013: Watch the trailer for Quantum Break… it’s both a big-budget game and a live action TV show rolled into one

Quantum Break is pretty ambitious. In addition to being a really cool looking game, it will also be a bundled live action TV series, in which the game and the live action influence each other. It sounds cool, but it also kinds of sounds like some of the gimmicky shit from the old Sega CD days. We’ll see.

E3 2013: Princess Peach finally a playable character again in Super Mario 3D World for Wii U

It’s hard to believe that of the hundreds of Mario titles that have come out since the 1980s, Mario himself is almost always the only playable character. Luigi has had his moments and in offshoot titles like Mario Tennis or Golf or whatever-the-shit, you can play as Peach or Toad or Wario or Bowser, but as far as the main line of platformers themselves, it’s always Mario and sometimes Luigi. Finally in the upcoming Super Mario 3D World for Wii U, players will be able to play as Princess Peach for the first time since Super Mario Bros in 1988.
