Wibbly wobbly creepy: Video merges the faces of all 13 Doctors into one

From Hartnell to Capaldi, this video both averages out the faces of two individual subsequent Doctors, then averages out the whole to create… a white British guy, but a very average looking person indeed. My favorite is the War Doctor/Eccleston Doctor.

See the Doctor Who intro sequence that’s so awesome, Stephen Moffat is stealing it for the new season

Made by Who fan Billy Hanshaw of Leeds, England, this is one of many, many examples of how fan art has gotten so good, it often rivals or betters the work of people who get paid a lot of money to create professionally. This particular intro is so awesome and unique, yet appropriate for Doctor Who that Stephen Moffat contacted Hanshaw to ask to use his fan made intro for season eight, starting in seven days. The actual intro has been “professionally remade” by the BBC, because they’re already paying designers and artists to do something. Whether Mr. Hanshaw was paid a shitload of money for basically doing the work of the BBC, I don’t know.

You were promised a darker Doctor, you’re gonna get one

In this teaser clip for the upcoming season of Doctor Who, we’re offered some very brief glimpses of Capaldi’s Doctor, a man who has been forever changed in his new cycle of incarnations, after seeing what the Time War made him, and isn’t at all a David Tennant dreamboat nor a Matt Smith Peter Pan. This is the Doctor I wanted Eccleston to be until it got all RTD’d up, but the character of the War Doctor, while brief, I think retroactively made Eccleston’s Doctor the perfect bridge from “You have no idea the horrors I’ve seen” Doctor into a “Oh jolly, an adventure!” Doctor down the line. Now, all those quivering lip sad puppy dog faces from David Tennant and the manic to slightly, nearly psychotically serious Matt Smith faces have come to this, and I’m glad.

Check out the first full trailer for the new season of Doctor Who

Also, it could alternatively be called ‘Doctor Who: Into Darkness’. With a dinosaur.

This old Japanese Doctor Who parody is one of the weirdest things on the internet today

While the Daleks (Dalekor) with legs and the cheap kung fu Cybermen are pretty Japanese awful, the guy who plays the Doctor actually seems to be a decent actor.

New teaser trailer for the next season of Doctor Who, with a season launch date of August 23

We’ve been told that Peter Capaldi’s Doctor would be a departure from some of the more recent ones, which will be nice, because before the show’s hiatus, there was a much broader range of Doctor personalities than we’ve gotten so far, even if some of them weren’t all that great. And with this teaser, it looks like we will indeed get a much darker Doctor than we’re used to.

Amazing Doctor Who season eight fan trailer is amazing

So the digitized Peter Capaldi face isn’t quite right, but everything else is pretty damn gorgeous. Done by a fan. Remember that.

The first teaser trailer for season eight of Doctor Who is indeed, very much a tease

We’ve got ominous music and the shadow of the new Doctor, both of which tie into what writers and actors for the new season have said, which is that this Doctor and his story will be a much darker, much more dangerous one than we’ve seen with the last few Doctors.

Eleventh Doctor takes unspecified role in fifth Terminator film

In the fifth Terminator film, alternatively called ‘Terminator: Genesis’ and just ‘Terminator’, Eleventh Doctor Matt Smith has been cast in an unknown but “major” role for the next three Terminator films. He’ll be joining Emilia Clarke (as Sarah Connor), Jason Clarke (as John Connor), Jai Courtney (as Kyle Reese), Day Okeniyi (as Danny Dyson) and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Peter Capaldi may be Doctor Who for just one season

Take this with the biggest grain of salt you can choke down, but the Who rumor mill is abuzz about something somebody’s boyfriend said at 31 Flavors last night about how Peter Capaldi may be a one season Doctor like Christopher Eccleston, and that he’s just an “intermediary” Doctor before a “radical change” to the show, which knows… who the fuck what. Moffatt leaving the show, a lesbian left handed Eskimo Doctor with a limp or what.

Behold, Peter Capaldi’s Doctor Who outfit
"He’s woven the future from the cloth of the past. Simple, stark, and back to basics," Capaldi said in a press release. "No frills, no scarf, no messing, just 100 per cent Rebel Time Lord.”
Um, okay. I think it makes him look like a stage magician. All he needs is a top hat, a cape and a rabbit.

Waste some Thursday with these Doctor Who themed Cards Against Humanity

Since Cards Againgst Humanity is under a Creative Commons license, it means anyone is free to make and distribute new cards, as long as you’re not selling them and/or blatently trying to rip off CAH. So with that in mind, a group of Doctor Who über nerds have created Cards Against Gallifrey, a set of CAH cards based on 50 years of Doctor Who. They’re not all side-splitting hilarious, but the beauty is that you can always make your own. Go ahead and print em out and get all wibbly wobbly timey wimey.
