Take this with the biggest grain of salt you can choke down, but the Who rumor mill is abuzz about something somebody’s boyfriend said at 31 Flavors last night about how Peter Capaldi may be a one season Doctor like Christopher Eccleston, and that he’s just an “intermediary” Doctor before a “radical change” to the show, which knows… who the fuck what. Moffatt leaving the show, a lesbian left handed Eskimo Doctor with a limp or what.
Since Cards Againgst Humanity is under a Creative Commons license, it means anyone is free to make and distribute new cards, as long as you’re not selling them and/or blatently trying to rip off CAH. So with that in mind, a group of Doctor Who über nerds have created Cards Against Gallifrey, a set of CAH cards based on 50 years of Doctor Who. They’re not all side-splitting hilarious, but the beauty is that you can always make your own. Go ahead and print em out and get all wibbly wobbly timey wimey.
Even though the BBC is being incredibly tight-lipped about exactly who and who isn’t going to be making an appearance on the 50th anniversary blowout on November 25th, we can now add one more Doctor to the list— Tom Baker. Of course you couldn’t have a DW 50th birthday party without the longest running and most loved Doctor ever. Who cares if he’s old and gray and chubby? Make it work.
"I am in the special," said Baker. "I’m not supposed to tell you that, but I tell you that very willingly and specifically; the BBC told me not to tell anybody but I’m telling you straightaway."
