DEA arrests college student, accidentally leaves him in holding cell for five days with no food or water

Daniel Chong, a 24-year old student at UC San Diego, was taken into custody during a drug raid with some friends of his and then accidentally left alone in a holding cell for five days with no food or water. Hungry, dehydrated and sleep deprived, Chong drank his own urine to survive and ate some meth he found in the cell to combat the effects of sleep dep.

DEA uses emergency powers to ban K2 and other synthetic marijuana

Yesterday, the Drug Enforcement Agency in the US announced that it’s using “emergency powers” to ban the sale and possession of K2 and other synthetic marijuana products. Because obviously, people smoking shitty THC-free fake weed is a dire national emergency.
