Ever wondered what Mick Jagger and David Bowie’s “Dancin’ in the Streets” would sound like without music?  Well wonder no longer!

Isolated Vocal Track of David Bowie & Freddie Mercury Singing ‘Under Pressure’ (1981)

It’s so beautiful…

Morning music: Astronaut Chris Hadfield sings David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” while in outer space

Fantastic…

You know who else’s birthday is today? David Bowie. You know who has a new single to go along with his first album in a decade? David Bowie.

This is “Where Are We Now?”, Bowie’s new single from his new album ‘The Next Day’, his first full new album in a decade.

IHC After Dark: Bonkers TV song and dance number from 1970s Italy features multiple dancing David Bowies

This 1978 clip features the eternally popular Raffaella Carrà (now pushing 70) singing Cole Porter’s “Night and Day” as bald, mustachioed eye-patch wearing sci-fi weirdos, um, assist her. That’s only the “night” part, just wait until “day” comes around and the troupe of caped, dancing “Aladdin Sane” clones show up to strut their stuff!

Morning retro music videos: David Bowie “Dancing in the Streets”

I was reminded of this video earlier and I had to share.

At one point, David Bowie’s wife was going to play both Wonder Woman and Black Widow

Afternoon music: Seu Jorge “Life on Mars”

Seu Jorge covering David Bowie’s “Life on Mars”. Just thought I’d share a beautiful song.

I guess kids have to learn about loss at some point, but damn. “Space Oddity” by Andrew Kolb has a gorgeous 1960s style to it, but it seems at odds with the song itself.

Ground Control to Fox McCloud

Brentalfloss and Underbelly take David Bowie’s music to the next level in “Star Fox: Space Oddity.” How? By using Star Fox puppets by Aipe (a.k.a. Hirokareo) and Arwing papercraft by Sidewinder81777.

The Best David Bowie Impression on YouTube

This is Stevie Riks. Yeah, both Lennon and Bowie are the same impressionist, and he’s quite simply amazing. I’ve been a fan for years now, and I’ve enjoyed his Bowie, Beatles, Bee Gees, and dozens of other spot-on impressions enough to share. Keep in mind, he plays all the music AND does all the singing. He’s really quite talented.
