News FAIL of the Day: Two CNN Anchors Talk via Satellite in the Same Parking Lot

Do you see what’s going on in this GIF? Yesterday morning, CNN Newsroom anchor Ashleigh Banfield and CNN Headline News anchor Nancy Grace were discussing the Cleveland kidnapping case “via satellite,” which is a great way to communicate for those who aren’t standing in the same parking lot, and of course, they were. The setup was discovered after a viewer noticed same exact cars passing through both sides of the split-screen in the background and The Atlantic Wire also followed up with a shot-by-shot breakdown of the scene.

The real fun on New Year’s Eve was Kathy Griffin kissing Anderson Cooper’s crotch

I was watching Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve and I apparently missed the real action on CNN, where Kathy Griffin tried to kiss Anderson Cooper’s crotch at midnight and probably would have sucked him off on live TV if she were any drunker.

CNN reporter Anderson Cooper comes out as gay, the world gasps in disbelief

And by “disbelief”, I mean “not any disbelief”. Today, in an email to fellow journalist Andrew Sullivan, Cooper wanted to let the world know that he’s gay and proud. While you were at work doing real shit today, this is probably what your mom was watching. Apparently, Anderson Cooper doesn’t drink hot beverages and doesn’t eat green vegetables. So he’s gone his entire life never having had coffee or spinach, so he decided to try some. When did Anderson Cooper go from CNN’s hardcore journalist to this guy?

From yesterday’s Daily Show: Don Lemon frowns on CNN’s shenanigans

As CNN slowly becomes the network of cute cat videos, there’s one CNN reporter who refuses to play their stupid games because he wants to you know… report real news. That man is Don Lemon. Our hats off to you.

The GOP has its first real televised debate in NH. Anyone watch it?

Last night in New Hampshire, CNN hosted the second televised GOP debate, but in many ways it was the first “real” one, since it’s the first one with people that are considered real frontrunners and household names. It was also the time when Michele Bachmann announced her candidacy, since she had previously been the only name on the ticket who had not officially stated they were running.

It’s a black thing you wouldn’t understand

Cincinnati lawyer and CNN legal consultant Eric Deters recent posted, then removed, a video on his youtube channel about how he “understands black culture”. The local media has been going out of their way to ignore the story.

More dead birds? What’s going on? CNN asks Kirk Cameron.

We’re barely into January and we’ve already got the first huge media hype of the year: DEAD BIRDS. What the hell’s going on? The photo above is from a flock of dead birds that showed up in Sweden yesterday.

So what the fuck is going on? Hard-hitting journalist Anderson Cooper decided to get to the bottom of it by asking Kirk Cameron if this is the Apocalypse. And does Cameron bite? Surprisingly not.

That’s what he’s saying anyway. A couple days ago, Cooper posted the above photo of himself in a rabbit suit on his Twitter feed, with the cryptic explanation that he was dressing like a rabbit because “they asked me to.”
