The MoVI camera stabilizer could change cinematography as we know it

Just as the Steadicam revolutionized cinematography when it was introduced in the 1970s, so does the new MoVI stabilizer. While camera men and women can get incredibly steady tracking shots, doing so requires a hell of a lot of heavy equipment. The MoVI is a light and portable one-man rig, giving both directors and cinematographers a lot more freedom in composing the shot.
“The Art of Steadicam”, a tribute to one of the greatest innovations in cinematography
In 1976, cinematographer Garrett Brown invented the Steadicam, a weighted, portable camera rig that significantly reduces camera shake and allows for a much greater freedom of movement without building rails or anything else to keep the camera steady.
