Christopher Eccleston cast as the main villain in Thor 2
So apparently the Dark Elf rumors for Thor 2 were true… but considering the subtitle is “The Dark World”, it’s not a huge surprise. What is a surprise, in a good way, is that ninth Doctor Christopher Eccleston has been cast as Malekith the Accursed, ruler of the Dark Elves.

Christopher Eccleston opens up on why he left Doctor Who: “They were assholes”
Okay, so I’m paraphrasing with “They were assholes”, but that’s essentially what Christopher Eccleston said when asked about his time on Doctor Who while Eccleston was giving an acting masterclass at London’s Theatre Royal on Wednesday.
