Evening nightmare fuel short films: “Chernokids”

Supinfocom graduation film, 2010, directed by Marion Petegnief, Matthieu Bernadat, Nils Boussuge, Florence Ciuccoli and Clément Deltour. And yeah, it’s as creepy as the title indicates.

Watch this clip from ‘Chernobyl Diaries’, from the director of Paranormal Activity

The film follows a group of six young tourists who, looking to go off the beaten path, hire an “extreme tour” guide. Ignoring warnings, he takes them into the city of Pripyat, the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor, but a deserted town since the disaster more than 25 years ago. After a brief exploration of the abandoned city, however, the group soon finds themselves stranded, only to discover that they are not alone…

SPOOKY.

Chernobyl Diaries opens May 25

On the 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster, Ukraine’s FEMEN is there to protest, topless obviously (NSFW)
Today is the 25th anniversary of the disaster at the nuclear plant in Chernobyl, Ukraine that turned a thriving city into a ghost town nearly overnight. And so of course, the protest group FEMEN once again gets my attention by protesting outside Chernobyl topless.
