Lucy Liu cast as Watson in US Sherlock Holmes series opposite Johnny Lee Miller as Holmes

Guy Ritchie has done two recent Sherlock Holmes movie, there’s a very good modern Sherlock drama on the BBC starring Benedict Cumberbatch and now CBS is getting in on the action with a new series called ‘Elementary’ that will star Johnny Lee Miller (that guy from Hackers and Trainspotting) as Holmes and Lucy Liu as Watson. Longtime CBS commentator and lifelong curmudgeon Andy Rooney dies at 92

Last month, Andy Rooney retired from television after sixty years in journalism and this morning, I’m sad to hear that he passed away at the age of 92 in a hospital in New York after complications from minor surgery. Truly this is a sad day, and you will be missed, you grumpy old son of a bitch.
