Poker Night 2 Screenshots Leaked

Here are leaked screens of the sequel to Poker Night at the Inventory, Telltale Games’ Poker Night 2. The screens were leaked by an Xbox Live Marketplace asset site and posted on NeoGAF.

They reveal Ash from the Evil Dead film franchise, Sam from the infamous PC series Sam & Max, Claptrap from Borderlands, and Brock fucking Sampson from The Venture Brothers television series. GLaDOS from the Portal series also hovers over the poker table, but it’s not clear if GLaDOS is a playable character.

Telltale Games’ teaser site, The Key Party, also seems to confirm these characters.

IHCer Kickstarter of the day: Poker Smash

Heya IHC! One of the games I helped alpha for awhile back called Poker Smash is trying to get ported over to steam. Its the old “Matchup” formula, but the twist is it uses poker hands instead of just shapes and colors. If you liked Tetris attack, Panel de Pon, or Pokemon Puzzle League, its right up your alley. 8 bucks gets you a DRM free install AND a steam key.

Yes yes yes, it’s a deck of playing cards that look exactly like the default deck in Solitaire for Windows 95. The bad news is they’re currently out of stock, but even if you can’t get some for the holidays, get some for your birthday. Or someone else’s birthday. Or for whenever.

Legend of Zelda playing cards are awesome, add a fifth suit

Oh how I wish these were a real, manufactured thing and not just pretty pictures. Don’t get me wrong, they’re very pretty pictures. But I wish perhaps Nintendo would see these and put these into production. It’s not just that the art by DeviantArtist Nelde is fantastic, it’s that the addition of a fifth Triforce suit is particularly brilliant, and could make for a really interesting game of poker, though a lousy game of Hearts.
