Penises are interesting bits of biological engineering. Some penises have bones in them, some have cartilage, some like humans, get their staying power through spongy tissue that fills with blood. Most birds on the other hand, use neither blood nor bone to get a boner, but lymph, that substance that serves a function similar to blood, though slower moving without a central pump.
