Fox announces an Axe Cop animated series for 2013

So the good news is that the awesome webcomic Axe Cop is finally coming to the small screen in the form of a series of shorts for Fox’s upcoming late night Saturday animation block next year. The bad news is that Axe Cop isn’t going to be written by a team of five year olds, so hopefully they’ll stick pretty close to the original comic, because adults alone can’t reproduce the awesomeness of an insanely imaginative five year old.

Axe Cop: The Movie

We had Axe Cop a couple weeks ago as a Sunday morning comic, and if you haven’t read it, you should read it right now. Because now there’s AXE COP THE MOVIE. It’s Axe Cop… in movie form. THE MOVIE.
