Angry Birds: Star Wars comes out November 8
This November, there will be a brand new Angry Birds game, set amongst a Star Wars backdrop. While the above teaser trailer doesn’t show really anything at all, Rovio has said it’s going to be their best Angry Birds yet. I dunno, Angry Birds Space is pretty damn fun…
It’s the first look at ‘Bad Piggies’, Rovio’s follow up to Angry Birds

You may have heard of a game called Angry Birds. It’s been kind of been a big hit. Anyway, Rovio has been promising for a while to do a pigs-themed follow-up and here it is. Or the trailer anyway. With Bad Piggies, instead of trying to knock down structures, you’re going to be building crazy contraptions for pigs to capture bird eggs. Yeah, that looks pretty damn fun.
For some reason, there’s now a Green Day version of Angry Birds
Whatever, it’s not like Green Day has actually been worth a shit for decades. Too bad you can’t fling the actual band members themselves against a brick wall.
Wooden slingshot peripheral for Angry Birds
If trying to pull back that digital slingshot with your mouse doesn’t feel authentic enough, this guy made a wooden slingshot controller. For Angry Birds. Some people and their free time.
Angry Birds developers announce next game, Amazing Alex

Now that Rovio has made a gazillion dollars from Angry Birds and Angry Birds Space, they recently announced their next game, called Amazing Alex. The game will be somewhat educational, and based on the game ‘Casey’s Contraptions’ (above) that they recently acquired from developers Snappy Touch and Mystery Coconut.
First look at the Angry Birds theme park in Finland
Okay, so it’s no Disney World… it’s more like a giant Angry Birds themed playground, but okay. When you get to launch people into buildings with a slingshot, give me a call and I’ll book a flight.

IHC Game Reviews: Angry Birds Space

Yesterday, the first true sequel of sorts came to the Angry Birds franchise with Angry Birds Space. There’s already been a few variations, including Angry Birds Rio, which was just a shameless tie in to the animated Rio film and Angry Birds season, a shameless attempt to get people to buy more Angry Birds stuff because it’s got hearts and jack-o-lanterns and shit, but the gameplay was still basically the same— take your birds, fling them at piles of wood and stone and ice, knock out the pigs. But Angry Birds Space feels like a completely new and exciting thing all together.
Angry Birds Space trailer launches a day ahead of the game’s release
Tomorrow, Angry Birds Space launches for iOS, Android, Mac and PC and today, you get this official launch trailer, showing the birds in their best retro futuristic space garb and some of the crazy outer space physics you’ll be encountering.
Astronaut Dan Pettit gives a demonstration of Angry Birds Space
The actual in-game demonstration isn’t until right at the end of the video, but if you thought Angry Birds Space was just going to be Angry Birds in low gravity, you’d be wrong. It’s Angry Birds using all kinds of outer space gravitational physics, bringing with it a brand new challenge.
Angry Birds Space is due out March 22
I don’t know what Angry Birds Space is exactly, but Rovio is marketing the shit out of it
Angry Birds Space launches March 22nd and no one knows exactly how it would differ than normal Angry Birds, but Rovio’s making a huge deal about it, making it the biggest launch for them since the original Angry Birds came out. So yeah… don’t know what else to say.
Angry Birds as an Apple IIe text adventure
It’s on every other platform physically possible, so why not? This doesn’t exist, but if it did, I’m sure it would sell like a motherfucker.
Short film of the day: “Angry Birds in Real Life”
So fan interpretations of Angry Birds has started to get sort of old, but this short film, combining live action and 3D animation is pretty decent.
Over the weekend, Rovio held an Angry Birds world championship in Finland
Over 2600 fans showed up over the weekend to the first Angry Birds championship in Finland, but only one had the bird slinging skills to walk away with the grand prize. That would be 19 year old Jonas Koivula, who blew off studying for an intensive Angry Birds training session.
