Sure people eat some crazy shit– snails, maggot-infested cheese, frogs, diseased corn etc etc, but none is as both strange to Western tastes yet incredibly practical as eating rat. And when the shit hits the fan in the US at some point, knowing how to properly cook rats will come in real handy.
