Namco registers Antiques Roadshow video game domain

There aren’t a whole lot of PBS shows that I could imagine as video games, but if I had to make a list, Antiques Roadshow would probably be right near the bottom, several places under PBS News Hour with Gwen Ifill. But regardless, Namco has gone and registered a domain name for Antiques Roadshow the game.
Registering a domain name of course isn’t a promise of anything, but it’s usually a step towards protecting a brand across media, so there’s a possibility that there could be a Antiques Roadshow video game at some point, which is more than we had yesterday.
I can’t image how Antiques Roadshow would be turned into a game, unless it were done like The 3 Stooges game for the NES. As in exactly like it, graphics and all. Except instead of saving the orphanage, you do the stupid mini-games to collect antiques whose value is unknown until you take them to an appraiser. Uh, and then you save the orphanage. Or if the game is about making old people cry. That would also be well worth it.
OLD WOMAN: I’ve staked my children’s and grandchildren’s entire inheritance on this one old dinnerware set I got at a yard sale.
APPRAISER: See where it says “Microwave Safe” on the bottom of these plates?
OLD WOMAN’s eyes start to well up with tears.
